The actress Audrey Hepburn photographed by Cecil Beaton for a fashion editorial about the style of their new film “My Fair Lady”, at the Warner Brothers Burbank Studios in Burbank, California (USA), in September 1963.

Audrey was wearing (costume and accessories created specially for the scene at the Racecourse of Ascot):

  • Gown: Designed by Cecil Beaton (a blouse of white organdy over a long gown of white satin, following the miracle: a cape of white tulle with some details embroidered, flowers of black tulle, high collar in tulle with a black velvet ribbon on the neck, finishing the gown,  a large ribbon of white satin at the waist).
  • HatLeah Barnes (based on the drawings by Cecil Beaton, a hat lined with felt in white on the top and black felt inside, also on the top flowers of organdy in black and white).
  • UmbrellaEleanor Abbey (based on the drawings by Cecil Beaton).
